I have two grandsons who have played in basketball leagues at the Sportsplex West. It is so chaotic. There are non-participating children bouncing balls constantly and shooting baskets while there are team timeouts. I have seen toddlers running onto the court and balls rolling onto the court from children just shooting baskets on the adjacent court.

I believe that the focus of these games should be the game and our children who are playing. Not, boucing balls and uncontrolled spectators. Parents pay a price for their children to participate and that should provide some kind of controlled atmosphere. It is too bad that everyone‘s enjoyment is afftected by uncontolled fans. It is also too bad that people are not controlling their non-participating children.

This place is great - there was so much for my familiy to do. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and that rock wall is amazing. I didn‘t know the Des Moines area had such a cool place for the family.
