Val Air Ballroom

I‘ve seen a couple of shows here, and can‘t wait to see one again now that it will be smoke free! Previous comment said it "smelled old" but I thought it just smelled really smoky and I had to wash all my clothes and shower after being there. Nice environment for concerts as there is plenty of dancing room. A needed venue in Des Moines. Tickets aren‘t priced too over-the-top like they are at larger places like Wells Fargo Arena.

i would say Val air is great place to go to concerts. they happen to get some pretty big music names through out the year. i have been to around 10 concerts there. also they are adding more air conditioning and doing other renovations. i‘d say it‘s a great place if u wanna enjoy a concert, whether your on the floor by the stage or sitting in the bar having a drink while you watch.

Val Air isn‘t a bad place. I went to a concert there and it was nice because you can get up close to the stage if you want to. If you don‘t want to, it‘s okay because you can still see. They also have a bar. The downfall is, Val Air is an old place, and it smells old. . . You know, the musty smell. Other than that, it is a pretty good place. I would definitely go there again.
