Unprecidented style, service, and atmosphere put Aura ahead of the rest in the Des Moines area. This new club has quickly become one of Des Moines' most popular. Aura has a good sized dance floor and seating area, but even these become packed as the big crowd comes near 11. In addition to the live DJ Aura also offers booths off to the side which are reserved for groups ordering bottles. They also have table service, and the drink menu consists of a page each for red wine, white wine, mixed drinks, and martini's. Aura's attention to detail and commitment to style make it a must see when in Des Moines. The tables are lit by candle light, the drinks are garnished, and the service excellent.

Used to be much better - was there 2-3 nights a week, but not anymore. Nate‘s gone, which sucks, they are closed on Thursdays - Shawna is often at other bars and not at Aura, and the crowd is predominantly one race...no diversity anymore. Plus DJ Raj is garbage.
