Vieux Carre

Well after attending Vieux Carre‘s "Dollar Drink" New Years bash I must say that I‘ll set foot in that place for as long as I live. It‘s one thing to jam you on the cover charge (20.00), but to advertise 1.00 dollar drinks all night, and then just decide to make it anything other than that is false advertising!!!! Nice work guys you‘re now a worse place to drink than Southport. Sure you may get shot outside of Southport, but if they have a drink special they don‘t go back on their word.

The waitresses had more of a buzz than I did and when we ordered shots, they were warm.

We all went for the fights. The place was packed with great energy from the crowd. We will be back.

If I wanted to hang out with gang bangers and steriod packed freaks I would....but don‘t call this place a friendly enviorment to hang with friends in.

Odd entrance - very small dance floor - LARGE area for drinks. Cover charge is for what??? The poorly made bird cages?

They need to learn how to properly run a bussiness, the staff is terrible and the bouncers don‘t make good judgements on behavior.
