Club AM

i been workin just across the street at the embassy suites hotel we from dallas tx we were remodeling the hotel for 6 months always used to go there is nice good after party!! now im back 11/25/11 im here workin at the hotel again doing the public areas nd im plannin on going there tonight ...

this is a great place to spend some time and money on a dance floor. really the in place to have a party time .the girls are friendly and help you wind down on your down time.

i see soem people complain over crowded what do you expect one after hours in the whole state.
2nd thing the door people being rude and trying get you in fast. well they are trying there best to get people fast as they can so they dont cause problems outside and city of des moines gets on there ass if there is alot of people outside
door people being rude they have to every tiem i went there i always see some one with a fake id trying to get in want to come in for free want half price . its not the best club ints not NYC club but half of those scum bags that go there probably woulndnt be able to get in the big city club any hows.

Every time I have gone to Club AM/Partytime I have had a great time with my friends. Agreed there are a lot of Mexicans that touch you if you are dancin sexy, but otherwise people keep to themselves. The boss/anouncer is very friendly and so is the staff. Fights are common but mind your business and you should be alright! Its a good place to let loose and dance!

I know we live in Iowa and the choices are small, but you can do better than Club AM (or whatever name it is this week). When you get there your always fighting to get the last spot, in my case, a drunken female in a minivan got pissed and flew around us, hit a parked car, and attempted to hit and run. When you get indoors the security try to push you through their checkpoint like cattle, to a dancefloor and walkway that has just enough standing room... dancing is next to impossible on the weekends. With crowds that packed and in such tight quarters there is no wonder violence happens every weekend. Last night we left just in time, as we pulled out the lot, 11 police cruisers swarmed the building... If your looking for some fun dancing with your friends on the weekend, save ten bucks and avoid this club.

I see alot of people bitching about too many Mexicans being there. The reason might be because there is 4 bars in that strip.
one of them bars is mexican and those people want to continue the party. I always have fun it dont bother me I rather party with the Mexicans then Blacks. long story short not the best club in the universe but not bad for country ass Iowa.

Way way way too many mexicans! Might as well call it Club Mexican! Very friendly staff though.

i have been there so many times and every time i go at least 3 or 4 fights that night. too many mexicans for some reason and always fighting . thank god there is good staff and cops that work there to break the fights up.

the club it self is huge nice dance floor a great place to go and get laid, like previously some one said its a little bit too crowded.

not bad of a place laid back staff not some scary ass bouncers bunch of funny guys and very understanding of people getting drunk and out of hand

awesome club some times too crowded pretty nice polite staff they show up before the fight breaks out and calm the situtation down.

This place was a second choice because the lumber yard was packed. You pay $12 to get in which was high, the front door people are rude as hell. The music was ok, pool tables were nice. Staff sucked the most, a friends friend got his cd player and subs jacked in the parking lot and when we went to ask a staff if he had seen anything he ignored us then turned and said someone just stole my car, report it to the cops.....maybe they need to watch the parking lot more? Mostly hispanics in the club.

Awful place. x( The service sucks; so does the music and the crowd.

Not to bad of a place for after hours, the music is awesome, but the staff not so nice. First your greeted at the door by a sign that tells you what you can not wear, and sorry guys but if I am paying $12 to get in then I should be able to wear what i want, Not enough seating and what is with all the roped off areas, sitting on the leather couches would have been nice. Anyhow, not bad, not somewhere that I would make a habit of going to.

Haven‘t been here yet but heard it is pretty awsum! I think they should have high school night on fridays also.

The Teen night is called "highschool and college night" and it is on Saturday nights from 8 or 9 pm to midnight.

i used to be a bouncer here! i miss the club alot! had to move for college. ill be back tho!
