Gino's Restaurant & Lounge

Just ate at Gino‘s last night for the first time. The salad with their house creamy garlic was one of the best I‘ve had in a long time. The Steak Deburgo was awesome--so tender, perfectly prepared. I got the petite with a baked potato and was more than enough food. Gino‘s has a fun "retro" (authentically--really is an old restaurant) atmosphere, very comfortable. I look forward to eating there again soon.

Best place in town for the overall dining satisfaction.

My grandparents used to take me to Gino‘s for my Birthday starting when I was 4 years old. That was 32 years ago, and I still rate Gino‘s in my top 3 places to eat in the Des Moines area. Great steaks and salad. Never leave hungry. If you leave in or around the Des Moines area, and you have never been to Gino‘s, you should get down there asap.

Gino‘s is the best! I grew up in Des Moines and now live in Florida but don‘t miss a chance to go to Gino‘s at least twice during every visit. When we can‘t come to visit, Mom brings some filets down with here for us. We even brought back a case of Gino‘s special sauce home with us last time. It‘s a must try!!!

Ginos is a wonderful place to dine!! My husband and I have been goining there for over 16 years. Never a bad meal. The food is always of the best quality. THe staff is friendly and very frieindly and ready to serve.

I love Ginos. Best Steaks in town. Try the DeBurgo its DeBomb.

Great Marinara sauce and awesome blue cheese dressing. Prices are a bit high over all, meal quality good, portions ample.

PERFECT for Des Moines‘ old society. Moderatly priced mediocre food. Unfortunatly, poor service; no, not poor, extremely poor, service. The decor is far from trendy, they haven‘t updated the restraunt since the 70‘s, which is interesting considering the whole place was flooded in 1993. But I suppose they washed the glasses and silverware since then, so it‘s ok.

My family has been going to Gino‘s for as long as I can remember. It was my great-grandmother‘s favorite place. Now I‘m having my wedding rehearsal dinner there.
