Waterfront Seafood Market Restaurant

I LOVE Waterfront! In fact, I am trying to break my old record of eating here five days straight and am going for seven straight days. I am on Day 5 and must say they are still receiving a 10 from each day! The service is fabulous, food always piping hot and delicious and is run so well by the owners. LOVE to spend my money on locally owned places!

We have always gone to the Des Moines restaurant and loved it but Sat Nov22 2008 we went to the Ankeny restaurant got right in nice waiteress but the food was cold.We were there at 5:30 and they had ran out of clam chouder said it would be just a few minutes to make more about 10 or 15 minutes later it arrived but cold that we sent back but the rest of the food was warm. I really don‘t think we will go back to the Ankeny restaurant. Bev Fowles Boone Iowa

I love their sushi! They got the best sushi. the people that works there are so nice.

We go to this place every time we are in Des Moines. I have had sushi, in many places, most near the ocean. The sushi here is as fresh and in some cases better. The raw oysters are the best. Any item on their menu is worth eating. They do get concerned if you hog a table for too long. All in all a wonderful place with excellent service and the best seafood.

Beautiful sushi, you will not find it fresher, not even by the ocean. Excellent service. Get there early if you want a table. It is very popular and often crowded on weekends. Every dish I have had is excellent!

The only place in Des Moines to get great seafood! Whether you buy for grilling at home or eat in it‘s the best by far!!!!!

The perfect lunch or dinner: cup of the clam chowder or gumbo, then a bunch of sushi. Try the Salmon Nigiri.

Very impressive sushi selection and can definitely fill you up. Ambience brings me right back to the harbor.

I‘ve been eating here since I was 5 and I insist that we eat there everytime I come back from Iowa City. I can seriously eat anything on the menu and NOT be disappointed.

Never been disappointed with a meal here, and I have been going since they only had a couple of tables. Great restaurant!
