A Dong Restaurant

One of my favorite places in Des Moines. Excellent food, selection and service. Very inexpensive, but I would go just as often if they raised the prices 50%, it‘s that good.

I recommend the spring rolls, bun, and number 108. It is hard to imagine what it is like by reading the menu, but I love it.

The staff is very helpfull if you want suggestions. They will gladly customize the dishes per your request.

Word of caution: they do NOT bring your check, you go to the cashier to pay and they have the check there. First timers are put off guard by that.

We‘ve been there many times, consistently excellent food with an entire separate vegetarian menu! Delicious beverages. Always seem to see someone we know there, friendly quick service, affordable. In historic Sherman Hill neighborhood, can walk to Sherman Place for events, shop at used book store, occult bookstore with great jewelry.

Tasty yet affordable Vietnamese place. The pho‘s so-so, but there are plenty of delicious specials. Try the noodle soup.

I have loved this restaraunt for many years. The best Vietnamese in town. Very different.

I thought this place was Veitnamase...

Anyhow, the Pho is wonderful! Service is so-so.
