Waveland Cafe

Now that it is smoke free (reluctantly I‘m sure as staff were chain smoked every time I was there before the ban), very nice, family friendly, affordable "greasy spoon." Uniquely decorated with wall murals of staff that have worked there, this neighborhood cafe is a local favorite for breakfast. Tuna melt is good. Presidential candidates frequent this spot.

Great diner food at a reasonable price. Very good crowds.
